Perfect for heavier applications of thread as well as large, complicated computerized embroideries. Also because it's clear, it is easy to trace patterns onto for free-motion quilt designs. Fun for hoopless embroidery also; moisten top with a damp sponge, let dry then embroider! Extremely firm & stable.
